2 new Mori Sieki NZ20 turning centres with iemca bar feeds - capacity to 60mm dia

A new Tornos Sigma 32 sliding turning centre with robo bar feed - capacity to 32mm dia.

Cleaning...

An Ultrasonic cleaning unit now complements our automatic aqueous plant - supplied by Rosler U.K

Gauging...

Additional metrology equipment is now in place and includes two Mitutoyo Tallyrond (multifunction electronic gauge), Mahr electronic digital height gauges and a Federal air diameter gauge, fitted with a manifold for checking five separate, fixed diameters. All gauges are fitted to a specialised workstation and automatically pass data to an integrated computer running Lighthouse Systems SPC software. We also utilise a Co-Ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).

Recognition...

In the UK, we have a standard that recognises an organisation's commitment to staff development and training - it is known as Investors In People (IIP). We were given accreditation to this standard in March of 2001.
